Louisiana High School Soccer - Newman knocks off Jefferson RISE Charter
November 26, 2022: New Orleans, LA 70115 Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Jefferson RISE Charter (Harvey, LA), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Greenies confront the Fisher Gators (Lafitte, LA) in a Division IV District 8 challenge, on Wednesday, November 30. Newman will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Gators enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 5-3 non-league loss to Houma Christian (Houma, LA).
The now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Belle Chasse for a non-league challenge on Friday, December 2. Jefferson RISE Charter will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over John Ehret (Marrero, LA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-0.
