Georgia High School Basketball - Banks County thwarts George Walton Academy

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) and the host George Walton Academy Bulldogs (Monroe, GA), observed Banks County's basketball team knock off George Walton Academy by a score of 66-58.

The Leopards (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Bethlehem Christian Academy Knights (Bethlehem, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4 challenge, on Friday, December 6. George Walton Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 1-3 record after their 63-24 non-league win over Victory Baptist (Loganville, GA).
