California High School Basketball - Capistrano Valley overwhelms Valley Christian
November 26, 2024: Cerritos, CA 90703 The Capistrano Valley Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and limited the host Valley Christian Defenders to 34 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Orange for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 27. Capistrano Valley will confront a Panthers team coming off a 43-42 non-league win over Lakeside (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Valley Christian falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Defenders travel to Mesrobian (Pico Rivera, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, November 29. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 3-1. Mesrobian won 69-17 in their recent non-league game against EF Academy (Pasadena, CA)
