Louisiana High School Basketball - Silliman Institute bested by Hartfield Academy
November 26, 2024: Clinton, LA 70722 Hartfield Academy Hawks (Flowood, MS) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Silliman Institute Wildcats (Clinton, LA), 69-49 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Hartfield Academy advances its record to 8-1 on the year. The Hawks host Leake Academy (Madden, MS) to meet the Rebels in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 3. The Rebels enter the match with a record of 3-1. Leake Academy won 70-38 in their recent non-league match against Copiah Academy (Gallman, MS)
The Wildcats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowling Green for a MAIS 5A District 3 match on Tuesday, January 7.
