The Overton Wolverines basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Briarcrest Christian Saints to 47 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wolverines now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Fayette Ware for a non-league game on Wednesday, November 27. Overton will play a Wildcats team coming off a 39-19 non-league win over Germantown (Germantown, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Briarcrest Christian falls to 2-1 on the campaign. The Saints host Fairley (Memphis, TN) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 0-1.
