November 26, 2024: Centre, AL 35960 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Spring Garden Panthers (Spring Garden, AL) and the host Cherokee County Warriors (Centre, AL), observed Spring Garden's basketball team knock off Cherokee County by a score of 48-37.
The Panthers (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL). The Trojans come into the 1A Area 12 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Gaylesville was knocked off by Crossville (Crossville, AL), 42-8, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 2. Cherokee County will attempt to improve on its 3-1 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 32-25 non-league loss to Brewer (Somerville, AL).
