The Gallup Bengals basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Valencia Jaguars to 40 in the Bengals non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bengals now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Deming for a non-league game on Saturday, November 30. Gallup will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 56-46 non-league win over Goddard (Roswell, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Valencia falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Clovis (Clovis, NM) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, November 30. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 0-0.
