Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Forest bested by Lake Forest Academy
November 26, 2024: Lake Forest, IL 60045 Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Lake Forest Scouts (Lake Forest, IL), 62-46 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Lake Forest Academy advances its record to 5-0 on the year. The Caxys travel to Francis W. Parker (Chicago, IL) to face the Colonels in a Independent School match on Wednesday, December 4. The Colonels enter the match with a record of 0-4. Francis W. Parker lost 52-17 in their recent non-league match against Northside (Chicago, IL)
The Scouts now own a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Libertyville for a North Suburban match on Tuesday, December 3. Lake Forest will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 60-28 non-league loss to Maine South (Park Ridge, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-2.
