North Carolina High School Basketball - Butler fells Sun Valley
November 26, 2024: Matthews, NC 28105 The Butler Bulldogs basketball team scored 49 points and limited the visiting Sun Valley Spartans to 32 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Harding University for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. Butler will confront a Rams team coming off a 67-27 non-league win over Palisades (Charlotte, NC). The Rams record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Sun Valley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to East Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 3. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-2. East Mecklenburg lost 58-45 in their recent non-league game against Hough (Cornelius, NC)
