The Southern Guilford Storm basketball squad (Greensboro, NC), was nudged 57-50 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Lexington Senior Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC)

With the victory, Lexington Senior advances its record to 1-0 on the year. The Yellowjackets host North Rowan (Spencer, NC) to face the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Tuesday, December 2. The Cavaliers enter the match with a record of 1-1.

The Storm now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ragsdale for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 2. Southern Guilford will battle a Tigers team coming off a 66-60 non-league win over R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 3-2.
