Louisiana High School Basketball - Vigor can't hold off Edna Karr
November 26, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70131 Edna Karr Cougars (New Orleans, LA) backers went home thrilled Wednesday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Vigor Wolves (Prichard, AL), 40-34 in a non-league contest.
The Cougars (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Denham Springs (Denham Springs, LA). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Denham Springs was tipped by Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA), 43-42, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wolves confront the Baker Hornets (Mobile, AL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 2. Vigor will attempt to better on its 0-5 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 2-6 record after their 63-28 non-league win over St. Luke's Episcopal (Mobile, AL).
