Illinois High School Basketball - Belvidere topped by Yorkville
November 27, 2021: Belvidere, IL 61008 The Yorkville Foxes basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the host Belvidere Bucs to 30 in the Foxes non-league victory on Saturday.
The Foxes now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainfield North for a SouthWest Prairie contest on Tuesday, November 30. Yorkville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 51-45 non-league win over Lake Park (Roselle, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 1-1.
The Bucs (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Huskies come into the Northern Illinois 10 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Harlem prevailed over North Chicago (North Chicago, IL), 66-43, in a non-league contest.
