The Taft Eagles basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Highland Park Giants to 50 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lane Tech for a non-league contest on Friday, December 3.

The Giants (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Niles West (Skokie, IL). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Niles West was nudged by Wheaton North (Wheaton, IL), 54-49, in a non-league contest.
