Rincon/University Rangers (Tucson, AZ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Vista Grande Spartans (Casa Grande, AZ), 57-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rincon/University upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Rangers host Mica Mountain (Tucson, AZ) to play the in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 30. The go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Mica Mountain lost 68-63 in their recent non-league bout against Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ)

Next up, the Spartans play the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Lions (Tucson, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 2. Vista Grande will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 62-60 non-league win over Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ).
