Notre Dame Prep Saints (Scottsdale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Copper Canyon Aztecs (Glendale, AZ), 54-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Notre Dame Prep upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Saints travel to Desert Vista (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Sunday, November 28. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Desert Vista won 48-31 in their recent non-league bout against Estrella Foothills (Goodyear, AZ)

Next up, the Aztecs play the Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 30. Copper Canyon will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Mountain Lions go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 44-29 non-league loss to Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ).
