The Centennial Hawks basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Los Lunas Tigers to 9 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastwood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 30. Centennial will battle a Troopers team coming off a 34-29 non-league win over Burges (El Paso, TX). The Troopers record now stands at 8-0.

The Tigers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
