November 27, 2023: Redford, MI 48239 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Thurston Eagles (Redford, MI) and the visiting Belleville Tigers (Belleville, MI), saw Thurston's basketball squad hold off Belleville by a tally of 71-64.
With the victory, Thurston improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Eagles host Woodhaven (Brownstown, MI) to play the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, November 29. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Tigers play the Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 1. Belleville will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
