Wisconsin High School Basketball - River Valley knocked off by Brodhead
November 27, 2023: Spring Green, WI 53588 The Brodhead Cardinals basketball team scored 72 points and held the host River Valley Blackhawks to 52 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Monday.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Turner for a Rock Valley contest on Friday, December 1. Brodhead will battle a Trojans team coming off a 78-55 league win over East Troy (East Troy, WI). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
The Blackhawks (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Evansville (Evansville, WI). The Blue Devils enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Evansville was defeated by New Glarus (New Glarus, WI), 68-53, in a non-league contest.
