November 27, 2023: Carlisle, IA 50047 Des Moines Christian Lions (Des Moines, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA), 61-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Des Moines Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Lions host Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Dallas Center-Grimes won 73-42 in their recent non-league bout against A-D-M (Adel, IA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a Raccoon River bout, on Friday, December 1. Carlisle will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Comets go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 65-60 non-league win over Pella (Pella, IA).
