Michigan High School Basketball - Comstock Park knocked off by Newaygo
November 27, 2023: Newaygo, MI 49337 The Newaygo Lions basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Comstock Park Panthers to 43 in the Lions non-league victory on Monday.
With the victory, Newaygo upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Oakridge (Muskegon, MI) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 29. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Panthers play the Allendale Falcons (Allendale, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Comstock Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 50-49 non-league loss to Thornapple Kellogg (Middleville, MI).
