November 27, 2023: Jackson Junction, IA 52171 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Turkey Valley Trojans (Jackson Junction, IA) and the visiting New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA), saw Turkey Valley's basketball squad overcome New Hampton by a tally of 57-42.
With the victory, Turkey Valley improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to South Winneshiek (Calmar, IA) to play the Warriors in a Upper Iowa challenge on Tuesday, November 28. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Chickasaws play the Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, November 30. New Hampton will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Green Devils come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 71-54 league win over Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA).
