Mississippi High School Basketball - Newton County Academy ripped by Park Place Christian Academy
November 27, 2023: Decatur, MS 39327 The Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Newton County Academy Generals to 20 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Crusaders now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brookhaven Academy for a non-league contest on Thursday, November 30. Park Place Christian Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 64-30 non-league loss to Leake Academy (Madden, MS). The Cougars record now stands at 3-2.
The Generals (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Laurel Christian (Laurel, MS). The Lions enter the MAIS 3A District 3 contest with a 2-5 record.
