Alabama High School Basketball - Geneva County can't hold off Houston Academy
November 27, 2023: Hartford, AL 36344 The Houston Academy Raiders basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Geneva County Bulldogs to 42 in the Raiders non-league victory on Monday.
The Raiders now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Slocomb for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Houston Academy will battle a Red Tops team coming off a 39-10 non-league loss to Bethlehem (Bonifay, FL). The Red Tops record now stands at 0-3.
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Paxton Bobcats (Paxton, FL) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, November 30. Geneva County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 49-34 non-league win over West Florida Baptist Academy (Milton, FL).
