Iowa High School Basketball - Waukon crushes MFL MarMac
November 27, 2023: Waukon, IA 52172 Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA), 58-35 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Waukon upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Indians host Spring Grove (Spring Grove, MN) to clash with the Lions in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Spring Grove won 67-34 in their recent league bout against Lanesboro (Lanesboro, MN)
Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Kee Kee Hawks (Lansing, IA) in a Upper Iowa bout, on Friday, December 1. MFL MarMac will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Kee Hawks go into the bout with a 2-0 record after their 51-30 league win over Central (Elkader, IA).
