November 27, 2023: Avondale, AZ 85323 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos (Avondale, AZ) and the visiting Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ), saw La Joya Community's basketball squad wallop Kellis by a tally of 66-44.
With the victory, La Joya Community improves its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Fighting Lobos travel to Casteel (Queen Creek, AZ) to confront the Colts in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Colts come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
Next up, the Cougars confront the Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Kellis will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
