In Wednesday's non-league test, the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Somerset Bulldogs (Somerset, TX), by a score of 57-37.

Next, the Patriots encounter the Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 test, on Tuesday, December 3. Veterans Memorial will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 8-3 record after their 55-52 non-league win over Medina Valley (Castroville, TX).
