The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the South Lafourche Tarpons (Galliano, LA) and the visiting Blount Leopards (Eight Mile, AL), saw South Lafourche's basketball team nip Blount by a tally of 38-35.

The Tarpons now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they host Edna Karr for a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 3. South Lafourche will play a Cougars team coming off a 55-51 non-league win over Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cougars record now stands at 6-0.

With the loss, Blount falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Leopards travel to Baker (Mobile, AL) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, December 2. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 2-6. Baker lost 45-42 in their recent non-league bout against Theodore (Theodore, AL)
