California High School Basketball - Cathedral Catholic can't hold off Valencia
November 27, 2024: Placentia, CA 92870 Valencia Tigers (Placentia, CA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Cathedral Catholic Dons (San Diego, CA), 62-57 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Valencia upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Tigers host Western (Anaheim, CA) to face the Pioneers in a non-league match on Monday, December 16. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 0-1.
The Dons now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pacifica Christian/Orange County for a non-league match on Friday, November 29. Cathedral Catholic will face a Tritons squad coming off a 54-40 non-league win over St. Bernard (Playa del Rey, CA). The Tritons record now stands at 1-1.
