California High School Basketball - St. Francis holds off Polytechnic
November 27, 2024: Pasadena, CA 91106 St. Francis Golden Knights (La Canada, CA) supporters left the game happy Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Polytechnic Panthers (Pasadena, CA), 75-69 in a non-league match.
With the victory, St. Francis advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Golden Knights travel to La Serna (Whittier, CA) to face the Lancers in a non-league match on Friday, November 29. The Lancers enter the match with a record of 1-0. La Serna won 67-31 in their recent non-league match against Arlington (Riverside, CA)
The Panthers now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to EF Academy for a match on Tuesday, December 3. Polytechnic will face a EF Academy squad coming off a 40-30 non-league loss to Rosemead (Rosemead, CA). The EF Academy record now stands at 1-1.
