The Leo Lions basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Bowen Boilermakers to 26 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Urban Prep-Englewood for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 29. Leo will meet a Lions team coming off a 65-30 non-league win over North Grand (Chicago, IL). The Lions record now stands at 1-0.

The Boilermakers (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Carver (Chicago, IL). The Challengers enter the Chicago Public - Blue South contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Carver was routed by Waukegan (Waukegan, IL), 50-44, in a non-league contest.
