Highland Hawks (Warrenton, VA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Peninsula Catholic Knights (Newport News, VA), 62-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hawks travel to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to play the Huskies in a non-league bout on Wednesday, November 30. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Knights play the Moravian Prep Lions (Hudson, NC) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 1. Peninsula Catholic will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 78-65 non-league win over 1 of 1 Academy (Indian Trail, NC).
