November 28, 2022: Sullivan, IL 61951 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Newton Eagles (Newton, IL) and the host Sullivan Redskins (Sullivan, IL), saw Newton's basketball squad overcome Sullivan by a tally of 36-25.
With the victory, Newton improves its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Paris (Paris, IL) to confront the Tigers in a Little Illini challenge on Thursday, December 1. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 5-0. Paris won 51-21 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Joseph-Ogden (St. Joseph, IL)
