November 28, 2023: Caseville, MI 48725 The Ashley Bears basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Caseville Eagles to 28 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coleman for a Mid-State contest on Friday, December 1. Ashley will battle a Comets team coming off a 41-25 non-league loss to Beaverton (Beaverton, MI). The Comets record now stands at 0-1.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy (Saginaw, MI). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy dropped by Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI), 51-33, in a non-league contest.
