The Athens Red Hawks basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the visiting Rochester Falcons to 45 in the Red Hawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Red Hawks now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oakside Prep Academy for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Athens will battle a team coming off a 83-19 non-league loss to Old Redford Academy (Detroit, MI). The record now stands at 0-2.

The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Orion (Lake Orion, MI). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Lake Orion prevailed over Oxford (Oxford, MI), 51-27, in a non-league contest.
