The Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), 48-30 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Cougars (3-1) will now prepare for their test against East Coweta (Sharpsburg, GA). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, East Coweta notched a victory over Riverdale (Riverdale, GA), 72-69, in a non-league test.
