The Shepherd Bluejays basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Big Rapids Cardinals to 56 in the Bluejays non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bluejays now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Farwell for a Jack Pine contest on Friday, December 1. Shepherd will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-15 non-league loss to Evart (Evart, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

The Cardinals (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tri County Area (Howard City, MI). The Vikings come into the Central State - Gold contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Tri County Area dropped by West Michigan Aviation Academy (Grand Rapids, MI), 69-59, in a non-league contest.
