Iowa High School Basketball - Bishop Heelan Catholic ripped by Treynor
November 28, 2023: Sioux City, IA 51105 The Treynor Cardinals basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders to 23 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cardinals now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Missouri Valley for a Western Iowa contest on Friday, December 1. Treynor will battle a Big Reds team coming off a 61-54 league loss to Audubon (Audubon, IA). The Big Reds record now stands at 1-1.
The Crusaders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA). The Black Raiders enter the Missouri River contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Sioux City East triumphed over Spencer (Spencer, IA), 82-44, in a non-league contest.
