Virginia High School Basketball - Lord Botetourt fells Blacksburg
November 28, 2023: Blacksburg, VA 24060 Lord Botetourt Cavaliers (Daleville, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Blacksburg Bruins (Blacksburg, VA), 74-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lord Botetourt upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cavaliers host Alleghany (Covington, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-0. Alleghany won 67-43 in their recent non-league bout against Rockbridge County (Lexington, VA)
Next up, the Bruins clash with the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Blacksburg will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
