North Carolina High School Basketball - Chapel Hill tops Pinecrest

Chapel Hill Tigers (Chapel Hill, NC) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Pinecrest Patriots (Southern Pines, NC), 55-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Chapel Hill upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Williams (Burlington, NC) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Williams won 56-53 in their recent non-league bout against Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC)

Next up, the Patriots play the Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Pinecrest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Jaguars come into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 80-54 non-league loss to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC).
