Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting East Bakersfield Blades (Bakersfield, CA), 51-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kennedy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Yosemite (Oakhurst, CA) to play the Badgers in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Badgers come into the bout with a record of 1-2. Yosemite lost 65-42 in their recent non-league bout against Firebaugh (Firebaugh, CA)
