Virginia High School Basketball - Grundy overwhelms Richlands
November 28, 2023: Grundy, VA 24614 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) and the visiting Richlands Blue Tornado (Richlands, VA), saw Grundy's basketball squad wallop Richlands by a tally of 67-25.
With the victory, Grundy improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Golden Wave host Holston (Damascus, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 30. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Holston won 73-18 in their recent non-league challenge against Council (Council, VA)
Next up, the Blue Tornado confront the Castlewood Blue Devils (Castlewood, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, November 29. Richlands will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 75-42 non-league win over Twin Valley (Pilgrims Knob, VA).
