In Tuesday's non-league outing, the West Mecklenburg Hawks (Charlotte, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), by a count of 65-58.

The Hawks (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cavaliers go into the non-league outing with a 1-3 record. In their last outing, Cuthbertson was tipped by South Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC), 62-46, in a non-league outing.

The Rams now hold a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Bradford Prep for a non-league outing on Friday, December 1. Highland Tech will clash with a Bears squad coming off a 75-57 non-league win over Queen's Grant (Matthews, NC). The Bears record now stands at 3-0.
