The North Muskegon Norsemen basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting Muskegon Catholic Central Crusaders to 30 in the Norsemen non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Norsemen now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ravenna for a Western Michigan Lakes - Rivers contest on Friday, December 1. North Muskegon will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 59-49 non-league win over Kent City (Kent City, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.

The Crusaders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hopkins (Hopkins, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Hopkins triumphed over Saugatuck (Saugatuck, MI), 62-34, in a non-league contest.
