November 28, 2023: Lafayette, LA 70501 The Zachary Broncos (Zachary, LA) basketball nipped the host Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA), 67-63 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Broncos (4-1) will now prepare for their test against St. Paul's (Covington, LA). The Wolves go into the non-league test with a 4-1 record. In their last test, St. Paul's got by Broadmoor (Baton Rouge, LA), 73-31, in a non-league test.
The Vikings now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to New Iberia for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Northside will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 67-29 non-league win over Loreauville (Loreauville, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-0.
