South Carolina High School Basketball - Oceanside Collegiate Academy fells Sumter

Oceanside Collegiate Academy Landsharks (Mt. Pleasant, SC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Sumter Gamecocks (Sumter, SC), 66-52 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Oceanside Collegiate Academy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Landsharks travel to Cardinal Newman (Columbia, SC) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Cardinal Newman lost 69-32 in their recent non-league bout against Dorman (Roebuck, SC)

Next up, the Gamecocks play the Lakewood Gators (Sumter, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Sumter will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 62-38 non-league loss to Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC).
