November 28, 2023: Battle Creek, MI 49017 The Williamston Hornets basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Pennfield Panthers to 38 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Okemos for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Williamston will meet a Wolves team coming off a 75-35 non-league win over Lansing Catholic (Lansing, MI). The Wolves record now stands at 1-0.
The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bronson (Bronson, MI). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Bronson ran past St. Philip Catholic Central (Battle Creek, MI), 66-48, in a non-league contest.
