November 28, 2023: New Orleans, LA 70119 St. Augustine Purple Knights (New Orleans, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sarah T. Reed Olympians (New Orleans, LA), 78-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Augustine upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Purple Knights host Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 1. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-6. Benjamin Franklin lost 60-30 in their recent non-league bout against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA)
Next up, the Olympians clash with the Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls (Kenner, LA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, November 29. Sarah T. Reed will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Swamp Owls go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 68-35 non-league loss to Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA).
