Texas High School Basketball - Hays tops Cedar Ridge
November 28, 2023: Buda, TX 78610 Hays Hawks (Buda, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Cedar Ridge Raiders (Round Rock, TX), 63-45 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Hays upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Hawks host Odessa (Odessa, TX) to play the Bronchos in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Bronchos come into the bout with a record of 4-7. Odessa lost 46-35 in their recent non-league bout against Coronado (Lubbock, TX)
Next up, the Raiders play the Taylor Ducks (Taylor, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 1. Cedar Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Ducks come into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 81-33 non-league win over Bastrop (Bastrop, TX).
