Texas High School Basketball - Greenwood ripped by Cooper
November 28, 2023: Abilene, TX 79605 The Cooper Cougars basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Greenwood Rangers to 34 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Cougars now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wellington for a non-league match on Friday, December 1. Cooper will meet a Skyrockets team coming off a 46-33 non-league win over Childress (Childress, TX). The Skyrockets record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Greenwood moves to 2-7 on the year. The Rangers travel to King (Corpus Christi, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, November 30. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 1-7. King lost 37-32 in their recent non-league match against Calallen (Corpus Christi, TX)
