November 28, 2023: Denison, IA 51442 Denison-Schleswig Monarchs (Denison, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove Falcons (Ida Grove, IA), 63-39 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Denison-Schleswig upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Monarchs host Storm Lake (Storm Lake, IA) to play the Tornadoes in a non-league bout on Thursday, November 30. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a record of 3-0. Storm Lake won 61-31 in their recent non-league bout against Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA)
Next up, the Falcons play the River Valley Wolverines (Correctionville, IA) in a Western Valley - North bout, on Friday, December 1. Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
